Yongala Dive is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort based in Alva Beach (near Ayr) with the closest proximity to the S.S.Yongala.
Established in 2003, we have gained an international reputation for providing a quality experience, professional service and staff, safety and value while still retaining the ‘laid-back’ North Queensland style.
In August 2019 we commenced development of our new Dive Centre still ideally located at the beach for the utmost in relaxation, complete with on-site boutique Diver’s Accommodation to meet the needs of all our passengers and overnight guests.
We aim to provide certified divers with a unique adventure trip, our Yongala experience, including a 4WD to the beach where we launch our vessel. As award winners in the ‘adventure tourism’ category we know we have a winning formula.
