REEF HQ
Reef HQ and the Turtle Hospital is Queensland most famous education centre for international and Australians visitors to learn about our precious marine life. It will either teach you so much about what you have seen on the Great Barrier Reef or inspire you to do a tour. Either way is a great day out and each ticket sale helps to save the turtles!
MAGNETIC ISLAND
Just 25 minutes by ferry from Townsville, Magnetic Island is a small slice of paradis. With its many pockets of tropical beaches and huge range of organised tour or self guided hire options you really cant go wrong with a few nights stay on this amazing island. Easily accessible by foot or by car you’ll soon see why Magnetic Island is top holiday destination.
KOALA SANCTUARY
Magnetic Island is home to over 300 wild Koala’s and offers the best chance of seeing these amazing creatures in the wild. The Forts Walk offers many sightings so be sure to take you camera and for a chance to hold a Koala with a really reputable sanctuary you have to visit Bungalow Bay for your new facebook profile picture!
NATIONAL PARK WALKS
This region is home to so many National Park walks there are simply too many to mention. Whether your staying in Townsville or on Magnetic Island there are heaps of amazing lookouts for you to drink in the view. Remember to take heaps of water and a fully charged camera.
